An appeal had been made to in- . tereeted persons of the County to attend, as it was necessary to' make plans and get ready for the Bloodmobile which was scheduled to be at the Educational Building , of the Washington Baptist Church -. on Tuesday August 14th.
The Rappahannock News of July 26 carried on its front page a . Mort Walker cartoon advertising the Bloodmobile. A notice of the Friday meeting with an appeal for ' volunteers appeared in another section of the paper.
The Chairman sent out by mail' a number of written notices. T&s people of the county v were given ample notice.
