Since becoming a 4-H Club member eigfit years ago, Walter I?. Kilby, sbn of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Kiiby, has taken a variety of club projects and has completed all of them exceptionally well. Walter B. has shown particular interest in his livestock projects, and in 1955> he tied for first place in the Sear’s Pig Chain. For the past three years he has been active with his baby beef projects and has shown and sold thm at the Richmond Junior Premium Stock Show and Sale. "iphis year, Walter B. is feeding two shorthorn baby beeves and he planfc to show and sell one in Richmond and the other at the Warren-Page Baby Beef Show and Sale held in| Front Royal. Walter B.’s interest; in his baby beef project and his willingness to help others, has gyeatly helped to strengthen the interest for similar projects in the county.
Walter B. has taken a very' active part in ^11 4-H activities, giving a great deal of time and thought in helping to plan the County’s 4-lH Program. He has served as President, Vice President Continued On page twelve
