Sperryville III

4-H Club

The Sperryville III 4-H Club meets the first Wednesday in each month at 2:00 p.m. There are 30 members in our club and the officers, are: President, Thomas Atkins; Vice President, Lois Smoot; Secretary, Dorothy Reeve; Song leader, John O’Banoop; Game leader, Harold Walker; Devotional leader, Janice Dodson. Our Counselors arc Mr. Saunders and Miss Barnette.

We have had interesting projects this year. The boys are taking soil and electric projects and the girls are taking an electrical project.

We art looking forward to the summer recreation activities such as picnics .swimming and camp. \\ e go to Powell's Fort Valley each year to camp. 1 have been for tun \ ea i and we hate lot> ot fun.

l’he members who attended 4-H camp from our club last tear were Janice Dodson, Lois Smoot, Jerry Foster, and Dorothy Reeve. Once a year we have an Achievement Night. This year Flint Hill Junior Club came in first and Sperryville 11. came in second.
