Mr. C. J. Redick, of Ohio writes “I bought 57 calves at your Front Royal sale last .October and am very well pleased. I am just wondering whether your Association will hold any special feeder calf sales this spring.”

Nice to get this sort of inquiry. While Rappahannock Angus does not put on a spring sale, several of our Angus and Hereford breeders have consigned to the Culpeper Spring Sale for several years.

Those consigning to the sale to be held at jfE'ulpopcr April 14 are I. L. Parrish, Dick Latham. Maurice ( ) Hannon and 1’ i e d m o n t Farm. .

Ned Johnson called while we M ere snow-bound. Seems he'd written the New York state breeder of his bull purchased recently at Richmond to learn more about his past( performance. If I recall my decimals the bull had a lifetime average daily gain of 2.33 pounds or better. Very good!

Thomas William’s new bull he purchased at the Winchester Shorthorn Sale had a nice A.D.G. (lifetime) and a type score of 14 or choice plus!
