The 1960 4-H Girl of the Year in Rappahannock is Judy Kay Lilian!, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard of Flint Hill.

Judy has been a club member for seren years completing twenty projects. For her project work she has won county medals in Meal Preparation, Freezing, Dairy Foods and Home Improvement.

Judy is also a leader in her club and in the County. She has served as song leader and devotion leader of her club. This year the .County Council elected Judy as,song leader. Becoming a member of the Honor Club in 1959, she was elected devotion leader of the club.

When it comes to county events Judy is always there. She has ea> tered county demonstration contests for a number of years. Last year she represented the county in th District Contest in Dairy FoodsX,

She has also entered Area Demon- ^ stration Contests, and has^ entered the State Achievement Record Conte-c.

Judy has assisted with the planning of the annual 4-H Suppers and this year is serving on the Publicity' Committee.

Camp has been an important part of Judy’s 4-iH life. She has attended county camp for the past four years.

During the summer months Judv acts as J-unior leader in the project groups in the community. Judy is irjdeed one of our outstanding citizens of tomorrow.
