Flint HOI Carnival
In Full Swing
Fireworks arched the sky last night as Flint Hill firemen and ladies of the Auxiliary opened their four-night annual carnival. The carnival will continue tonight, Friday and Saturday nights.
Highlighting activities tonight, will be the mammouth parade, starting at 6:3d p.m. (ESI ), with over 100 entries, including fire equipment, rescue squads, floats, majorette groups, bands, marching units, etc. The Auxiliary will serve a plate supper at the food stand for $1.00 per plate.
Friday, two free country musicshows will be given, featuring Donnie and Johnnie and the Rocking Rebels. Miss Wakefield District will also be crowned.
Saturday, the gala event will be climaxed with awarding of prizes.
Each evening the midway will hold numerous attractions, with 7 rides for all ages and the food stand will serve hot dqp, hamburgers, coffee and cola drinks. The Auxiliary will have home made cakes, candy and cookies for sale each evening.
