Miss Hooper Receives
Nursing Scholarship
Miss Nancy Belle! Hooper, daughter of Mrs. Marie Hall, of Route 1, Front Royal,-Ya., is the lecipient of the second Nursing Scholarship awarded by the Front Royal-Warren-Rappahannock Tuberculosis Association this year.
As a graduate of the John S. Mosby Academy, Miss Hooper was a member of the Pep Club. She participated in the Miss Warren County Beauty Contest, was a member of the 4-H Club for a long time and belonged to the Future Homemakers Club.
Miss Hooper is entering the Winchester School of Nursing in September.
Each year the Tuberculosis Association offers a scholarship to a deserving senior for a nursing career and a scholarship for workshop training in the health field to a teacher. Inasmuch as there was no award made to a teacher this year, the Board of Directors approved the awarding of a second inursing scholarship in the amount of $90.00, of which Miss Hooper is the recipient.
