Oscar Lee Watts, 79, of Amherst, Va. died at his home Saturday, July 30.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, \Ir;. Rubv Wingfield of Washington, D. C. and Mrs. Marjorie Taylor of Tampa, Fla.; three sons, Mai ion Watts of Washington, Va., and Jack and Charles Watts < f Tampa, Fla.
Funeral service . were conducted Monday, August 1 from the Preston Parr Funeral home in Amherst with interment in Amherst National Cemetery.
Miss Lula V. Gore
Miss Lula Vernon Gore of Washington, Va., died Sunday, July 31 at her residence. Daughter of the late John 1L Gore and Martha Racer Gore, she was a native of Rappahannock County. She was 80 years of age.
She is survived by two brothers, John R. Gore of Washington and Henry C. Gore of Fredericksburg; a sister, Mrs. W. C. Miller of Sperryville, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service for Miss (robe who was a membei of Oakley Baptist Church, was held Tuesday morning from the graveside in the Washington Masonic Cemetery. Rev. E. H. Nicholson conducted the last rites. Pallbearers were Silas A. Beahm, George W. Beahm, Charles Baldwin, John M. Clark, Joe Estanich, H. D. Gilbert, Russell Partlow and Clarence Baldwin. Arrangements were in charge of Geest F'uneral Parlors.
