The Rappahannock Lions Club held its first meeting in their new home Wednesday night, July 27. The new home of the local lions is Hampton Inn, located on routes 522 and 211 between Washington and Spcrryville. It may be noted that the old schedule of meetings, second and fourth Wednesday nights, will continue to be in effect.
We feel that bouquets are in order for the management o f Hampton Inn for providing a de lightful meal in extremely pleasant surroundings. We also extend our sympathy to the Lions who missed this meeting and the delicious meal. ~
