Young men, have you ever thought of joining the United States Air Force but hesitated because you did not want to leave your school friends back in your home town. Well, there’s exciting news these days at your local Air Force Recruiting office. Right now, and only for a short period of time, high school friends are being given the opportunity to travel together, receive basic training in the same squadron and possibly serve together in the same outfit If you qualify to join this group you will be enlisted in the Washington Senators’ Buddy Fligh*prior to night game of 25 August at Griffith Stadium, Washington. D. C.
Following the swearing in ceremony and the game, the new Airmen will be flown from Washington National Airport to Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas to begin their Basic .Military T raining.
As game will be a night affair, and has been designated as Ladies Day, this will give Mom and Dad an opportunity to witness swearing in ceremony.
