At 4 H Camp

Today is for visitors at Powell’s Fort 4-H Camp where 27 Rappahannockans are spending a Week filled with opportunities for fun, fellowship, learning and inspiration along with boys and girls ifrom Loudoun and Clarke Counties. Why not fill your car with other parents, less fortunate 4-H members and go over for at least part of the day. You’lll enjoy it and can get an eyeful of what is being done for 4-H youth.
You follow 522 through Front Royal and take Route 55 just after crossing the Shenandoah Riv.er. Keep on 55 to Water Lick (5.3) miles, then turn left onto Route 678 and follow your nose for 8.8 miles then turn right onto 771. After getting on Route 771 keep right at each fork and you’ll be sure to get to camp. Routes 678 and 771 are good roads but narrow and winding.take your time and enjoy the scenery.abundant and pretty.
