When the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation met for the annual convention at the Hotel John Marshall in Richmond on November 28, 29, and 30, it took for its topic “Progress Through Self-Reliance”. Mr. Robert Delano, Director from Richmond County, presided at the first general session at 1 p.m. on November 28. Speakers at this session were Dr. Kenneth Hood, Director, Commodity Division, American Farm Bureau Federation, Chicago, 111., and Dr. Harry M.
