Has Changed

C. H. Lamb, Commissioner of the Division of Motor Vehicles in Richmond, today issued his annual appeal to Virginia motor vehicle owners who have changed their address since securing their 1960 license plates. -“The number of Virginia motor vehicle owners has grown to more than 1,600,000,” said Mr. Lamb, “and the size of this registration list makes it necessary for us to begin preparation of 1961 license reisewal applications shortly iafter December 1. If you have a 1960 Virginia license plate issued in your name and have changed your address during the current year, please notify the Division of Motor Vehicles, P.O. Box 1298, Richmond, Virginia at once, so we can mail to your correct address a license application in 1961. If you fail to notify the Division of your change of address your new license form cannot be delivered and this is bound to work ? hardship on the licensee and causes him considerab'.f inconvenience.”

Commissioner Lamb stated that the following information should be included in notifying his office of a change of address: New address, title number, make and identification number and' name as shown on the current registration card. He suggested that a postal card carrying this information be mailed directly to the Division of Motor Vehicles, P.O. Box 1298, Richmond, Virginia, as soon as possible to insure receipt of a new license application form early next March.

World War II Honor Roll

An honor roll of veterans of World War II is to be put in the new Rappahannock County High School. The list of names at present is incomplete. Anyone who attended school at Sperryville or Washington and is a veteran of? World War LI is asked to contact the school or the Rappahannock News office so the honor roll can be completed.
