Crqcker Test
On December 6, sixteen senior girls at Rappahannock County High School took the Betty Crocker Homemakers test. This is a fifty minute written examination on hom»making knowledge and attitudes taken by graduating senior girls in high schools throughout the United States.
The paper of the R.C.H.S. girl receiving the highest score will be submitted for competition with other high school winners to name the state Betty Crocker Homemaker of tomorrow. Each state Homemaker of tomorrow will receive a $1,500 scholarship and an educational trip April 23-29 with her school advisor. The tour will include New York City and Colonial Williamsburg and will culmiinate with the American Table Banquet in Washington, D. C..
The runner-up in each state will receive a $500 scholarship; the school of each state winner will be given a set of the Encyclopedia Britannica. *
The fifty state Homemakers will compete for the “All American Homemaker of Tomorrow” title.
