Physical Preparation ;
1. He was physically prepared t'> preach. Being known as a carpenter, the long walks referred to in the New Testament, the hot and dusty climate during the thirty davs of temptation, the temple conflict and the ordeal of the trial and curcifixion. These instances indicate that Jesus was physically prepared to preach. We who profess to be Christians sometimes neglect the upkeep of our bodies. We forget that when we break God’s physical laws we have grieved the Holy Spirit. The Bible states that we ■'re the temple of the Holy Spirit. Let us keep this temple in the same condition as we would keep our church sanctuary.
Intellectual Preparation
2. He was intelectuallv prepared to preach. From the profound teachings of Jesus we know that the silent years He spent at Nazai us were nor wasted.
