Four injured In
Auto Accident
Four persons were injured Saturday night at 10:50 p.m. in an automobile accident on Route 211 in front Pine Knot Inn near Sperryville.
A 1953 Ford sedan owned and operated by Robert! Edward Lee Strother of Strasburg slowed down to make a left hand turn into Pine Knot Inn when it was hit in the rear by ; a 1955 Oldsmobile operated by Nathan Edward Fletcher. Injured were Wordell Timbers of Washington, Va. who had a lacerated forehead; Robert Turner, Washington, Va., who received possible internal injuries. They were passengers in he Fletcher vehicle. Fletcher also had a leg injury. Strother received injuries to his shoulder and back.
Rappahannock Rescue Squad took Robert! Turner to Warren Memorial Hospital and Fletcher, and Strother were also taken there. They were passengers in the FletTimbers was hospitalized over night in Frqnt Royal.
Approximately $1,200 property damage was done to the automobiles.
