Need a bull? See elsewhere in this paper an article on the ROP bull sale to be held at Culpeper Enterprises beginning at Noon, March 20th.
While on the subject of bulls, a number of good-uns have already been bought by Rappahannock cowmen: Jim Yates, 2 Angus; Jessamine Hill Farm, 3 Angus; also Bub Gore, Gordon Hildrup, Johnny Woodward have bought Angus. Thomas Williams, they say, got a cracking good Shorthorn at the Winchester Sale; Woody Coughlin and Jock Brown have purchased nice Herefords.
Hear Jim Yates and Woody ..Coughlin are offering their mature herd sires for sale. Mightjlo,well to check them over. Also Mr. Vierling at Flint Hill has a few young ' Hereford bulls for sale. Call Mr. Hunter, telephone 2691.

The 1960 BCIA annual report has been received. All herd numbers are not known, so I can’t comment on all our herd’s records. Any way Piedmont, The Oaks, Red Oak Farm, Hidden Valley, Greystone Farm, Lucio Kilby and Mr. Vierling have their herds entered. Hear Ned Jones, Gen. .Noce, Allen Stokes and possibly Donald Read will enroll their herds rhis vear; Perry Duncan his in 1962.
