Carnival Opens On
Thursday, June 15
Carnival season will open in Rappahamtock next week when the Rappahannock Rescue Squad holds their cprnival Thursday, ■Friday and Saturday, June 15, 16 and 17. Thursday night a gala parade will launch the three-day event. This is the first carnival the squad has held.
Along with tides which include a merry go round, ferris wheel, swings and kiddie ride, will be games, entertainment, food and fun for little folk, big folk and folk of all ages.
The parade on Thursday, starting at 6:30 EST, will feature fire equipment, marching units, floats, bands and majorettes. A plate supper will be available on the grounds following the parade.
