MR. NORTON
Continued from page one West Point High School in 1933 and served as principal of that school during 1939-40. He became principal of Amelia County High School ip 1940 and continued in that position through the 1956-57 session except for four years of duty with the U. S. Army Air Force during World War II 1942 -46). ' July 1, 1957 he was elected Division Superintendent of Amelia County Schools.
Mr. Norton is married to the former Ruth Turner of Crewe, Va. and they have four daughters ages 3 to 16 years.
The Nortons are members of the Methodist Church. He is past president of Amelia Ruritan Club, past Master of Amelia Masonic Lodge, Director of War Memorial J3uilding and Director of Civil Defense for Amelia County.
