Truck - Auto Wreck

Continued from page one not injured, nor was Thomas I. Marbut, owner of the car, who was asleep on the back seat. Marbut of the U. S. Navy, who was enroute from Little Rock, Ark. to a new assignment in New England, had picked up Sharpnack hitchhiking and asked him to drive when he got sleepy.

Sharpnack was taken to Warren Memorial Hospital by Rappahannock Rescue Squad. He had severe lacerations of the left: ear and mouth, chest bruises and a possible concussion. He was in a coma and plans were being made to transfer him to Fort Belvoir.
