OBITUARIES
Odis Turner Hitt
Odis Turner Hitt of Millington, Md., a tree surgeon and resident of Viewtown, Va. until recent months, was killed near Clayton, Del., Tuesday; May 30 when he came into contact with a live wire near a tree he was trimming.
Son of JohnnY Turner Hitt and Rosie Nettie Smith of Viewtown and a' native of Rappahannock County, he was 32.
Besides his parents, he- is survived by two brothers, Elmer Lee Hitt of Culpeper and Richard Edward Hitt of Viewtown.
funeral service was held Friday, June 2, from Forest Grove Baptist Church, Viewtown, with interment in the church cemetery. The pastar, Rev. John B. Hodge, conducted the last rites.
Pallbearers were Ellis Smith, Clifford Cook, Wallace Stover, Julian Welch, Judd Weakley, Charles Priest, Charles Green, Allen Fletchef and Harry Woodward.
Geest Funeral Parlors were in charge of arrangements.
