Both boys and girls basketball teams of ROHIS were victorious when they met Warrenton on the home court Friday night. The girls strolled to an easy victory with the second string playing much of the time.
The boys game ended in a tie requiring three minutes of over time for a decision. Robert Armentrout made the winning basket.
It was a different story Tuesday when RCHS bowed in defeat at Marshall. Until the half, Rappahannock girls held a lead only to go flat in the last of the game. The score was 25-20 for Marshall.
Boys score was 46-32 with Armentrout high man for RCHS.
Both of these game were league play.
