On December 1, 1961, a person was brought into Rappahannock, Co. court charged with unlawfully hunting on posted property.
The person charged with unlawful hunting on posted property had a gun, a hunting license, was oi> posted property and did Not have written permission to hunt on the land where he was questioned or the surrounding territory which was also posted.
His defense was that he was not hunting only passing through to get to his car. The decision of the court: Not Guilty.
