Low-cost push button switches are used with this system. The wiring to the switches can be buried in ^the ground or supported on poles and buildings above ground.
Says the engineer, “Select carefully the location for yard lights. Bear in mind that trees, buildings, and the pole itself cause shadows that present full use of light. Install the lighting units at least 15 feet above the ground.”
Some farmers prefer to buy a yard lighting service instead of installing their own fixtures and wiring. Several electric power suppliers in the state offer yard light* ingservices.
