Mr. and Mrs. Roswell Bowersett and family of Silver Spring, Md. and George Settle of Powhatan were guests for the day Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Settle. Mr. Settle is somewhat improved after a long illness. Miss Katie Anderson, who is staying with the Settles, spent Wednesday at her home in Culpeper.
Rev. and Mrs. William Jester had as their guest last week, Rev. Earl Tyson, minister of Smith Memorial Methodist Church, Collinsville. Mr. Tyson was the guest speaker for the revival services at the Methodist Church here last week. The Jesters and their house guest were die guests for dinner Wednesday of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Foster and on Thursday evening were dinner guests of Mr. aid. Mrs. Robert Clatterbuck and their family.
