Harrison Powers, Virginia 4hH champion shearer last year, will be available after school hours and on weekends. His address is care of John H. Powers, Amissville, who lives near The Kennels.
Possibly John Updike’s sons (at Washington, Va.) will do some custom shearing. Neither the Updikes or Powers have phones. You may be able to reach them by calling the high school during lunch hour.
Remember: Pack tags, black, dead, burry or lambs wool separately from clear \fcool. All fleeces should be tied skin side out in a neat, firm bundle with paper twine. Never use sisle twine.
