State Trooper Dicks

Paul Powers Dicks of the Virginia State Police has been transferred from Woodbridge to the Rappahannock area and assumed his duties here on Dec. 16th.
Trooper Dicks, a native of Middletown, Va., first served the State Police Force in 1960 in Williamsburg. He attended basic training school in Richmond from November, 1960 until April of ’61, at which time fie was assigned to Woodbridge. He transferred from there to this area last month.
Trooper Dicks was formerly with the police force in Winchester and at one time was Deputy Sheriff of Frederick County.
He is married to the former Miss Faye Surarrat and they have one daughter, Paula. Mr. and Mrs. Dicks are living in the Snead apartment in Washington, Va.
Mr*. Heyle Retire* From Nursing
Mrs. Frankie Heyle of Silver Spring, Md., has retired from nursing after being in that profession for 30 years. She nursed in Rappahannock County, Md. and Washington, D. C.
Mrs. Heyle, formerly of Rappahannock, received her training from Johnson’s Nursing School in Chicago, Illinois.
She is now making her home at 1115 Cresthaven Dr. Silver Spring.
