Wow, what a vacation_It certainly is heck to have to go back to school after all thpse days of rest and relax- j ation and those nights of late | dates. Gu^ss we’ll just have j to face facts .and settle down j --start the New Year off j right. Speaking of the New Year, | here are some likely reso- j lutions for some RCHS’ers: Mr. Skinner, go on a low calorie diet. James Jenkins not to buy any more Fords before June. Betty Kilby not to drink more than two quarts of “booze” a day. Kaye Johnston and Virginia Bradford get their drivers I permits within the next year, j Tish Kilby have her Model j “A” coupe ready for the track by spring. Charlie Smith get “that Ford” inspected sometime in ’63. Seniors had cap and gown pictures taken Wednesday, j They received their other pictures just before Christmas.
The dance sponsored by the seniors was held Saturday, January 5th. The band was marvelous and we’re disappointed that so few came to hear iC and enjoy the j dancing. The Junior class has among j its members a super salesman. The class sponsored the sale of boxed candy before the holidays and that one enterprising young man sold a gentleman a box of candy then sat there and ate it for him. Frank gets “A” for effort. Merci beaucoup, Charlie, for that outstanding column several weeks ago.

Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Butler and family of McLean were guests during New Year’s of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Rutler. Mr and Mrs. Edward Rutler and son Mike of Arlington wpre weekend guests of the Amos Butlers. Mr. and Mrs. Winston Sibert and family of Takoma Park. Md., were holiday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Butler. Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson were visitors Friday of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Johnson.
