George W. Brown, who has been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Gossom at their* home in Falls Church, returned to Sperry ville Sunday and is making his home at The lee Highway Hotel. Mr. and. Mrs. Gossom and their family accompanied Mr. Brown to Sperryville and’ were luncheon guests of Mrs. Perle Coffey.
Mr. and Mrs. David Anderson had as their guests Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Oden of Sharpsburg, Md., and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Martin and their family of Bakerton, West Va.
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Dodson and their children wen? visitors last week of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Dodson.
Mra. Catherine Brown had with her for the weekend her daughter Miss Shirley Brown* of Arlington.
Miss Judy Hawkins has returned to the College of William and Mary after spending the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Hawkins.
Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coffey, Mra. Dorothy Corder and John D. Keyser were visitors in Alexandria Sunday afternoon.
Mrs. Perle Coffey and Mrs. Lyle Rector of Flint Hill were in Charlottesville Thursday.
Miss Nettie Bontz who has been spending some time with Miss Ebba Hitt suffered a stroke last week a"d was taken to Sib'ey Hosnital in Washington. D.C. Miss Bontz’s condition remains the same. M'ss Hitt, who accompanied M'ss Bontz to the hospital, returned to her home here Saturday.
Mrs. H. H. Avlor and her granddaughter. Stevie Avlor, were called to Winchester recently by the illness of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Myrtle Jenkins. Her condition remains unchanged.
