WASHINGTON (AP) — Only three members of the Virginia congressional delegation are in the scramble for new congressional offices.
Sen. A. Willis Robertson, D-Va., with some regret, is moving from the old Senate office building which he likes to the new which he dislikes.
But his new comer suite on the fifth floor—with six rooms compared to the present five—will be on the same level and very near the offices of the Senate Banking and Currency Committee which he "heads as chairman. The new offices will be dose also the Senate Appropriations Committee offices on which Robertson serves as a member and as acting chairman of a subcommittee.
Robertson is leaving offices he has occupied since coming to the Senate 16 years ago.
“I don’t like to move,” Robertson said, “I'm a little old fashioned—I like the high ceilings and the marble mantels of the old building. I voted against the new office building and I have
