Recuperating after Surgery |
Charles A. Jenkins of j Washington is recuperating in Winchester Memorial Hospital after undergoing surgery on his leg. Mr. Jenkins underwent a seven and a half hour operation on his leg which he injured in a traffic accident in Ohio two years ago. He is in a cast which will be changed in two weeks, then perhaps he will be able to return home. His address is Winchester Memorial Hospital, Room 262, Winchester, Va.
Rev. Melton Addresses Graduating Class
The Rev. Clyde F. Melton, j pastor of Reynolds fvlemor- | ial and F. T. Valley Bap- ; tist Churches, addressed the graduating class of Rappahannock High School at Baccalaureate services Sunday evening in the school auditorium.
The Rev. James B. Grimmer of Rappahannock Methodist Charge, gave the invocation and read the scriptures. The school choir sang “I’ll Walk With God,“ accompanied by Virginia Yates Bradford, pianist, who also played the processional and recessional marches. The congregation joined in two hymns. At the close of the service j the Chi Sigma Youth Group served refreshments during an informal reception for the graduates, their families and friends.
