Mrs. W. H. Moffett. Jr, entertained the Washington Bridge Club and additional guests Thursday evening at her home. Those playing besides the hostess and Mrs. Moffett, Sr. were Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller, Mrs. Frank W. Spalding, Mrs.M. R. Bradford, Jr., Mrs.Rayner V. Snead, Mrs. John DeBergh, Mrs. Charles Palmer, Mrs. Charles T.Bruce, Mrs. Dabney J. Carr and Mrs. Ned Jones. Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Bruce,Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Jones.

Mrs. Sani Barber and daughter Mrs. A. R.. Armstrong of Williamsburg spent from Wednesday until Monday at Mrs. Barber's home. Mrs. Barber has been spending the winter and spring months with the Armstrong’s in Williamsburg, and on Monday went to “Charlottesville for a visit with her grandson Alfred Barber Armstrong and family. ' Mr. and Mrs. Maurice' O’Bannon, Mrs. Luther Rudasill, Mrs. Lily Barber and Mfs. A. R. Armstrong were in Fork Union on Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. O'Bannon’s son . Robert Hill O'Bannon returned home with them having completed the school year at the Military Academy. Mrs. Barber and Mrs. Armstrong were Saturday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Keyser at Plesant View, Washington and Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice O'Bannon at Clover Hill. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Imbach of Rockville, Md. and Mrs. H. G. WaylandjMr. and Mrs. Collier Fox and Mrs. Harry Kemp of Luray were Sunday callers of Mrs. R. M. Johnson and Mrs. C. A. Fincham. Miss Marjel Dulaney of Washington, D; C. spent the week-end at her home. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Thornhill and family of Vienna were week-end guests of Mr.
