'63 Wheat Price Support Rate Set
The-price-support rate for .1963-crop wheat lit Rappahannock Cojunty will be -$1.98 per-bushel, H. S. Barksdale Chairman, Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation County^ Committee, has announced. Information on price-support rates for wheat stored in terminals is also available at the ASCS County Office. The Chairman pointed put that the national average support price for 1963-crop wheat is $2 per bushel to producers participating in the voluntary acreage reduction program. The county and terminal support loan rates, however, are based on the national average loan price of $1.82 per bushel; the remaining 18 cents per bushel of the support price will be an in-kind payment to participants based on the normal production of the farm's acreage for harvest.
