Summer School
Opens at RCHS
Repeat classes in English will be offered at the local high school beginning Monday, June 24, at 8 o’clock DST. The courses will run for 4 hours each day and will continue twenty days. Mr. B. G. Tltchenell will be the instructor. No previous registration is required.
Chester Gap Queen Contestants Wanted
Any girl between the ages of 10 and 20, living between Huntly and the Remount Station who would like to run for Carnival Queen at the Chester Gap Firemen’s Carnival, please contact Mrs. Maybelle Gilkey, ME 5-8737 for further information.
Woodville Bible School
Vacation Bible School is now in progress at the Woodville Baptist Church. Preparation Day was last Friday and the enrollment on Monday morning was 42 pupils and 13 workers. Mr. Tltcheneil and Mrs. James Falls are co-principals. Closing exercises will be held Friday, June 21 at 8:00, p.m. and we urge all parents* to attend.
Below preparation is being made for the forthcoming carnival sponsored by Washington Volunteer Fire Company, to be held June 26* 27, 28, and 29.
