Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hitt were guests Father’s Day of Mr. Hitt’s son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Woodard at Eggbornsville. Other guests of the Woodards were Mr. and Mrs. Everett Smith and children, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Scott' and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Les Spicer, Mr. arid Mrs. Harry Junior Woodard and Lois and Buck Pullen. Mrs. Sarah Latham and daughters, Misses Susan and Elizabeth Latham, spent from Thursday until Saturday night at Colonial Beach. Misses Nancy and Sally Latham were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. William Payne during the absence of their mother. Sunday the Lathams attended a family picnic at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Peck in Herndon wh'ere they were joined by fifty other guests. Misses Nancy and Susan Latham remained to spend this week in Herndon with relatives.
