Tractor Mishap
Kenneth Glascock of Amissvllle sustained a broken jaw in a tractor accident Wednesday, August 7 and was hospitalized until Monday in Fauquier Hospital. He was riding on the fender of a tractor on the old Warrenton Road when he slipped off and was struck by the wheel of a wagon attached behind. Kenneth is the son of Mr.- and Mrs. William Glascock.
Enroute Home from Japan
Miss Mary Norman Davis will return to her home in Washington, Va. October 15 after spending two years in Japan as an Episcopal missionary-teacher. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. Miss Davis left Kobe, Japan on July 10th and has visited Hong Kong, Manila, Singapore, Bombay, Aden and Egypt enroute home. She is now in the Holy Land and will spend the next six weeks tour ing Europe by car with friends.
Johrnon Family Reunion
The Johnson clan will hold their annual reunion at the usual place, The Flatwoods Apple Packing House, Sunday August 25th. There will be a social hour between 12 and 1 o'clock then a picnic lunch will be served. Come all and get acquainted.
