Mrs. Johnnie Gaines, Miss Linda Jenkins, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Fincham and daughters, Arlene and Peggy, and Glen Cave of Madison were in Stanley Sunday afternoon to attend the funeral of Mrs. Stella Buracker of Sperryville.

Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Gaines and Mrs. Claude Gaines were Sunday morning visitors of his brother’s fam ily Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gaines of Falls Church. Mrs. Claude, Gaines remained overnight returning to her work Monday in Alexandria. Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Ramey and daughter, Mabelle Lamb and Mrs. G. L. Updike of Washington attended the "Institute of Rural Affairs” held at V. P. I. in Blacksburg July 30 through August 1. Gregg and Mike Mudery of Manassas returned home August 3 after spending the past two weeks with their aunt and uncle Mr. and Mrs. Gid Jenkins and grandmoth
