David Burke returned to his home in Culpeper Sunday after spending a week with his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Guy Burke. Mrs. Alice Fincham of Berryville spent Friday and Saturday with the Burkes. Thursday visitors were Mrs. William Dodson, daughters Kay and Anne Lee of Berryville and Mrs. Henry Renner and daughter Carolyn of Stephens City. Monday guests were Mrs. Louise Taylor and Mrs. Estelle Milnes of Manassas. Sgt. and Mrs. George E. Terry and children who have been spending their vacation with Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Armel returned to their home in Hampton on Tuesday. The Terry's spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Everett Estes and attended the Ameri - can Legion Music Festival Sunday in Culpeper. Mrs. B. R. Armel, Sgt. and Mrs. Terry and Mrs. Everett Estes and family were dinner guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Woodward at Amissville. Mrs. Claude Evans of Richmond, Mrs. Arthur Campbell of Wilmington and Mr. and Mrs. Silas Harland of Norfolk arrived Tuesday to be guests for several days of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell at Twinlands. William Hawkins was discharged from the armed serv ice in July and is presently working in Arlington. Guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Hawkins were Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Hawkins and daughter Vickie and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Hawkins and daughter Connie, all of Arlington, Mr. and Mrs. Garfield Burke and son Rickie of Woodville, amd Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Alther.
