On Dean’s List
Miss Nancy Conway Latham was named to the dean’s list for the second semester at Berea College, Berea, Ky. Making the dean’s list signifies that the student carried a full class load and had grades of “B” or better in all subjects or a standing of 2.4 out of a possible 3.0 for the semester. Nancy’s standing was 2.66 for the entire year. She was a guard on the first string college basketball team which won over 80% of their games in competition with universities and colleges in Kentucky and Ohio. Nancy will enter the school of nursing at Berea in September. She is a daughter of Mrs. Sarah Latham of Amissville.
