Committeemen Appointed For Area
Raymond M. Johnson and H. B. Wood, Jr., both of Woodville, have been appointed by the area Farmers Ho me Administration to serve with present committeeman J. Richard Latham of Amissville. They replace Earl R. Yancey and J. Newbill Miller. Farmers Home Administration committeemen are appointed for three-year terms. This three-membercommittee acts on the eligibility of applicants for Farmers Home Administration loans. The Farmers Home Administration is an agency of the U. S, Department of Agriculture, authorized to make loans to eligible farmers for various farm needs. It also makes loans for needed housing in rural areas to eligible applicants who may or may not be farmers.
The Culpeper FHA office is located at 608 South Main Street in Culpeper. Besides Mr. Barrell, the personnel of this office includes J. Phelps Walker, Asst. County Supervisor and Alice E. i Yancey, Office Clerk.
