Seaman H. Taylor Updike, Jr. and Seaman Frank Lord of Dam Neck were week-end guests'of Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Updike. Week-end guest of Miss Lottie Burton was Mrs. George Haymaker of Front Royal. Additional Sunday dinner guests were Mrs. Carson Walter and sons, Dickie and Leon Bly, of Middletown. Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Scudere attended an Updike Reunion Sunday at Sky Line Caverns picnic area near Front RoyaL Mrs. Wade H. Massie, Jr. was a supper guest Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Wood at the Lord Culpeper Hotel. Mrs. T. C. Lea spent several days this week with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. T. S. Williams in Amherst. Dr. and Mrs. Gordon Lindenblad and family left Sunday for a South Carolina beach after spending the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Miller.
