Army Maj. Robert W. Noce, 37, whose wife, Mary, lives at 2408 Empry Ave., Bradenton* .Fla., was assigned to the Army element of the Military Assistance Advisory Group (MAAG) in Vietnam, July 29, as an operations offic.er. MAAG, Vietnam, is an Army - Navy - MarineAir Force organization which advises the armed forces of the Republic of Vietnam on training, use of equipment and tactical operations.
Major Noce entered the Army in 1944 and was stationed at Fort Leavenworth, Kan., before arriving overseas on this tour of duty. The (major is a 1943 graduate of Lawrence High School in Falmouth, Mass., attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, is a 1949 graduate of the U. S. Military Academy at West Point and received a master’s degree in 1959 from Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. His parents, Lt. Gen. (USA, Ret.) and Mrs. Daniel Noce, live at Laurel Hill Farm, in Castleton, Va.
