The Rappahannock A ng«8 Feeder Association concluded another successful sale at Front Royal Livestock Market last Tuesday. Karl Ehmer.of New York was the largest single buyer, purchasing 221 head at a total price of $28,486.90.
Several buyers from Pens-1 sylvania purchased a total'of 346 head and Ohio buyers tdpk home 271 head. Other purchasers were from Maryland, West Vaf, Georgia, Indiana and Virginia. The 36 'fancy heifers skftd averaged $26.07 cwt. Average weight was 470 lbs. and average price per head was $ i 22.57 There were 160 choice heifers, average weight 438 lip. selling for $25.39 cwt Ipr $111.20 per head average* Good heifers, 177 of them, averaged $24.34 cwt fir $103.91 per head.
