ib Known oy many Virginians for his quick wit. The third member of the Mis slon is the Rev. George Potts who is paying his second visit to Virginia. In 1960 he conducted local Missions in Winchester and Richmond. He has been Co-Mlssioner with Bryan Green in two large Missions in Toronto, Canada, and WllBamsport* J>avHe U author and journalist. When asked if this Mission, known as The Bishop’s Mission might be termed an evangelistic mission, Bryan Green replied “Definitely/' and explained: “Evangelism means so offering Christ to people that they may come to accept Him as their Lord and Saviour in a personal relationship which will gradually transform their lives within the fellowship of the Church.” As stated by Bishop Robert F. Gibson, Jr., the purpose of the mission is “Spiritual renewal through a corporate effort in prayer and commitment under the leadership of these truly great Christian preachers.
