Bear Near Flint Hill.
Donald Huffman of Front Royal killed a 125 pound bear near the waterfalls north of Flint Hill Tuesday morning ^Hth" a bdfcr arid arrow. He was about 25 yards from the animal when he shot. Huffman checked the animal at Lyle Rector's Store, Flint Hill. He told Mr. Rector that after he shot the bear, a much larger one appeared nearby, but it ran away when it saw and heard the commotion of the first one.
Youth Convocation
Teen-age youth groups in this area of Virginia, including the counties of Rappahannock, Fauquier, Loudoun, Clarke, Warren, Page, Frederick, Shenandoah and Rocking ham, will hold a convocational Rally on Sunday afternoon, from 4 to 7*30 p. m.
