Commonly used cosmetics include: a powder base, or foundation which enhances color and acts as a base for dry powder. It should be blended at the hairline and chin. Rouge accents the upper part of the cheeks and should be blended into the skin coloring. Powder gives a smooth, luminous look, and you need a powder compact for occasional touch-ups. Lipstick adds color to the lips. If your eyebrows' are thin or light, you will want to use an eyebrow pencil which blends with your coloring, and a similar mascara for eyelashes. Make-up habits worth forming are: clean your face before going to bed and before adding make-up; select cosmetics becoming to your coloring; and apply them skillfully to achieve a natural look.
