It's a funny world! We’ll spend hours debating the color of upholstery In a car and then cover It with seat covers so it will be nice for the next owner. We carefully choose a sofa fabric So it will harmonize with the color scheme of the room and then put a cover on it so the colors won’t fade. .We buy a watch because it's waterproof, even though we carefully take it off every time we wash our hands. We buy a flour because it will make good gravy and good cakes even though we never bake cakes anymore. Most of us have done all these things, plus many others just as strange. In some cases, such as the car upholstery and the sofa fabric, these actions don’t cost anything. In many other cases, though, they have cost money. Let’s take some food peculiarities, for example. There’s one brand of baked beans that I always buy. I'm unhappy if I can't get them. There’s that extra something about their flavor. I’ll make a special trip to another store to get them. Now, let me tell you what I do with those beans before I eat
