Be sure to place your order now for both holidays as there is a possibility of a shortage this year. There will be no re-orders, so please don’t fail to fill your needs early. Quite a few of our friends have asked about the success or failure of our apple sale. We are indeed glad to report that the sale proved to be extremely gratifying and will be instituted as a permanent project along with the fruit cake sales. All fund raising endeavours of the Lions are measured in terms of monies available for community improvement and aid and it is with a deep satisfaction that we look upon any increase in the treasury.

Saturday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edmond Martin were Mr. and Mrs. Guy E. Douglas of Arlington, who have just returned from a tour of Europe. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Coesfeld of Roesville, Mich, left Monday after spending three weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Martin. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Cloud were Mr. and Mrs. James Pullen and daughter, Patsy Ann of Manassas, Mr. and Mrs. John T.
