Miss Carolyn Hodge of Amissville has been chosen to represent Culpeper County High School as an applicant for selection to participate in the Americans Abroad program. Miss Hodge, the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. John Hodge, was selected from a group of eight Culpeper High students who applied. Also selected from that school is John J. Davies, III, son of Mrs, Ruth Lea Davies of Culpeper.
Culpeper is eligible to apply for an appointment to the Americans Abroad program by virtue of having been assigned a foreign exchange student for the current school year. The students chosen to represent our nation in the Americans Abroad program will visit in homes of foreign people next summer. There will be some 6,000 applications for the 750 homes available under the program.
