Week Story
Every November, during the week which includes Veterans Day, American Education Week is observed throughout the United States. It is a time during which the nation’s schools and colleges report to their owners - the general public - about their purposes, methods, achievements, needs and problems.
The basic purposes of American Education Week are to make every American aware of the important role education plays in a democracy and to help him realize that good schools aqd colleges are opportunities in which he may share.
citizens to acquaint themselves more fully with the programs and needs of education and to rededicate themselves to strengthening and improving this essential safeguard of our nation.
